Attention travellers! There's a new night bus route in Dubai that will make your life easier
Are you tired of running after that last 11pm bus in order to get home? This might be the news you'd love to hear.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) just announced two new bus routes that will make your daily commute to the heart of the city much easier.
As of Sunday, September 1st, a new night bus, N30, has been operating every hour from 9pm to 5am the next day. The route will start from Dragon Mart 2 at International City, and head to Dubai International Airport (Terminal 2), via Rashidiya Metro Station.
RTA said it will also improve the timing and connectivity of 11 other routes - 11A, 24, 34, 50, 56, 95, 95A, 96, F53, X25 and N55 (another night bus service) to boost the public bus network in Dubai.
Previously, the only way you could get to the airport from Dubai International City, was if a generous friend asked you to ride along with them or calling a taxi. So the introduction of bus no. N30 will allow anyone to reach the airport in under one hour and 10 minutes.
The N30 also makes convenient stops around Dubai International City including the Ibis Styles Hotel, Dubai International City Post Office, Police Station and more. This initiative is part of Dubai's efforts to broaden and upgrade the scope of the public transport in the city.
