The very chic Pearls & Caviar has launched a new menu that’s a total treat for seafood lovers in the capital. There’s the classic pairing of salmon and dill that’s taken to the next level with egg gribiche (a mayo-based sauce with chopped hard-boiled eggs, mustard and herbs), confit potatoes and capers. I couldn’t think of a better way to start a meal. While some of you may be oyster purists, the Rockefeller version Pearls & Caviar serves may sway you in a new direction. The oysters are topped with creamy Parmesan spinach, shallots and lemon sabayon – delicious. For mains, the Norwegian halibut is served with parsnip and cabbage and a clam broth, or there’s sea bass with sweet potatoes, Sicilian figs and wild mushrooms. For an al fresco, seafood-filled night out in Abu Dhabi, Pearls & Caviar is a real treat.
