Kitchen 45, Embassy Dubai’s eatery at Grosvenor House’s Tower Two, has launched a posh new European menu, inspired by flavours of the Mediterranean and Provence. The menu reflects the colours of the region, with dishes such as braised oxtail cannelloni or foie gras terrine with dried fruits and nuts. And it’s equally exciting for vegetarians with burrata cheese, caramelised plum and artichoke salad or chilled pistou (French fresh vegetable) soup, to whet meat-dodgers’ taste buds. Guests can also indulge in a great selection of new mains, including pan-fried wild turbot with a chickpea purée, bresaola, artichoke barigoule, confit smoked salmon fillet and steamed oysters with lemongrass or beef Wellington. Desserts are equally tempting. The orange and date millefeuille and the pear and chestnut tarte are sure to become firm favourites – we’re loosening our belts as we speak. As well as the a la carte menu, visitors can indulge at Embassy Dubai’s sophisticated Crudo Bar (Crudo originating from the word raw in Italian), which serves an array of raw, marinated and smoked seafood, including tuna, lobster, salmon and crab. Guests can also enjoy fresh oysters and an exquisite selection of caviar from the Caspian Sea, served with traditional blinis and condiments.
