New Friday Brunch with a Touch of French Finesse in Dubai
There's a new brunch in town which kicks off this Friday 17 October; a refined affair called 'French Fridays' at Le Classique at the Emirates Golf Club. It's set to be a celebration of Parisian chic with a multi-sensory experience of the finest French food, live jazz and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Starters, which are served on sharing style wooden boards include abundant seafood favourites like smoked salmon, oysters and octopus salad, while the Morteaux sausage, Richelieu pâté are meaty delights that are both delicious yet light enough to just whet the appetite, ready for the main event of dishes like Pot au feu with pan fried foie gras, and mussels mariniere.
Desserts also follow suit, so think tarte au citron and a very dramatic crêpe Suzette which is cooked live, tableside. It wouldn't be a complete French affair without the addition of cheese, and the vast range to choose from coupled with jams, chutneys and artisan breads is the perfect way to round up a relaxing Friday afternoon.
Although it all sounds like very much an adult affair, the joint play area with M's restaurant on the terrace will keep little ones entertained with attractions, including a face painter and video games.
