NEW! Butcha Steakhouse & Grill now open at The Beach, JBR Dubai

As we’re all aware, the Emirates are made up of a nation of carnivores and while there is a very upmarket Turkish steakhouse in town, it’s not cheap and you might not even be able to get a reservation if you tried. Therefore it’s comforting to know that those of us who enjoy a more laid back, chilled out form of dining, can also experience steak dishes from Turkey sans the whopping price tag.

Butcha, which is now open at the trendy hangout of The Beach, JBR boasts unique in-house dry-aged beef, prepared by its grill masters who use only oak wood and charcoal grills, for an altogether different steak experience that offers both succulence and smoked brilliance.

The Turks certainly seem to know a thing or two about mouthwatering meat conococtions, with many of the country’s concepts which are slowly gaining momentum here, borne out the necessity of providing true meat lovers with an unparalleled feast to behold. As the first certified restaurant in Dubai to have the facilities to dry-age meat on-site to ensure the finest quality and incredible marbling, Butcha embarks on a 28-day process to allow the natural enzymes to breakdown, giving the meat a more superior flavour profile. Cuts on offer include the traditional tenderloin, bone-in Rib Eye, Wagyu and Porterhouse, but you can also indulge in some more authentic dishes, courtesy of the expertise of Head Chef Emre Gok, and the Head Chef of the Butcha brand, Sehmuz Acar, with plates that include, Shaslik, marinated skewered tenderloin with onion and peppers, Thracian lamb rack, sujuk and homemade Merguez sausages.
