Netflix Launches in the UAE!
Netflix is now available across the GCC

Netflix, an on-demand internet streaming media provider which is known for distributing original TV Shows including House Of Cards and Orange is the New Black, is officially available in the UAE.

The online TV company which has 69.17 million subscribers worldwide, is about to gain even more subscribers, since it has also launched in more than 130 countries, including in the GCC and most of the Middle East.

The CEO of Netflix, Reed Hastings, confirmed its launch on 6 January saying: “Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network, with this launch, consumers around the world will be able to enjoy TV shows and movies simultaneously, no more waiting. With the help of the internet, we are putting power in consumers’ hands to watch whenever, wherever and on whatever device.”

The service, which can be accessed on Netflix.com, will be available for a one-month free trial and eventually be priced between Dhs30 to Dhs44 per month.
