Najwa Karam is now officially 'worth it'! L'Oreal have just announced that the top Lebanese artist is their first ambassador in the pan-Arab region.

The "shining sun" of the Arab music world, one of Lebanon's highest selling artists for over 20 years, and a judge of MBC TV’s Arabs Got Talent show, it's no surprise that Najwa has joined the L'Oreal ambassadors club, whose other members include Eva Longoria and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

So what does the new face of the brand think of her new role? Najwa said after the announcement, "Having used L’Oréal Paris products most of my life, I’m excited to work with a brand that consistently offers a wide range of superior products that are attainable for women everywhere. I’ve always loved their sophisticated ad campaigns and am thrilled to represent a brand that embraces a woman’s worth.”

Najwa will make her debut in the upcoming L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 advertising campaign in the Middle East in June 2012.

Meanwhile, she's also been rocking on the red carpet at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. Najwa wore a Zuhair Murad dress, pairing it with a pair
of pearl and diamonds drop earrings and a matching pearl and
diamond ring from Mouawad’s Pearl Jewellery.

She tweeted about her choice, "My dream is to
be on Cannes' red carpet wearing Zuhair Murad with the magical touch of Mouawad jewelry. Once upon a time. The dream has come
