He’s the comedic presenter of Virgin Radio’s popular evening slot Myles ’til Midnight, having been recruited to join the Dubai station’s DJ team last September. As the son of Scottish radio veteran Robin Galloway, it appears his talent is hereditary, but although he’s followed in his father’s footsteps, it seems that fame would have found him at some point or another.
Myles enjoyed a brief modelling career and once had the opportunity to join a boy band, but says the decision to move to the Middle East is certainly not one the 21-year-old regrets. He has loved the UAE since his teens, when he holidayed here each year, and he made Dubai his home in 2011. Since launching his career here he’s supported some of the biggest names in showbiz on stage, namely Justin Bieber, Will.i.am and Selena Gomez. Myles was also set to task warming up the crowd at the 2013 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, while his ‘big kid’ persona made him the obvious choice to officially open the record-breaking new Tower of Poseidon attraction at Atlantis The Palm’s Aquaventure Waterpark.
Given his stratospheric rise, the dictionary definition of the ‘Dubai dream’ should have a picture of him plastered right next to it.
