Get those umbrellas and wellies out, we're getting more than our fair share of rain in Dubai! After the showers last year, it's time for wet weather in 2014 too. Rain and winds lashed Dubai this week, making for the usual scenes of puddles, splashes and drenched people.
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has predicted moderate to heavy rains for Monday (6 January), Tuesday (7 January) and perhaps even later in the week in Dubai as well as areas along the coast and the Northern Emirates. So cloudy with a chance of raindrops over Fujairah and Al Ain too.
Temperatures are expected to dip further (that means more layers for us) and it'll also get pretty windy over the next few days with the sea being rough too.
Combined with the rain, dust and sand are likely to cause poor visibility so do be extra careful on the roads.
As always, do send us your pics of the rain. Clouds, rains, umbrellas and whatever you see, send your snaps to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will publish them on Ahlan! Live.
