If you’re looking for a place to dance until your thighs ache, Miss Lily’s is it. Located on the 5th floor of this centrally located hotel, the venue draws on inspiration from the Caribbean, which makes it one of the most fun and popular spots to hit up for a lively, party atmosphere.
The beach shack décor is bright, cheerful and authentic. It’s shabby chic at its best, with funky mismatched tables and chairs that give the place a homely feel, while its relaxed vibe makes you lose all your inhibitions at the door.
Even though it is known for its after-dinner atmosphere, Miss Lily’s food is a well-deserved star of the show, too. For light bites, try the jerk corn with coconut and spicy mayo or the salty, gritty ackee hummus and crispy baked flatbread. Hungry? Go all-out and share the slow roasted pimento short rib. Slabs of tender, juicy beef soaked in a yummy meaty jus with roasted scallions and mushrooms. It’s mouth-watering.
The bar area is where the action happens. A DJ armed with a playlist packed with ‘90s and ‘00s hip hop and RnB hits amps the crowd up to epic levels. Don’t look for the dance floor – just find a space in and around the tables in the bar area and shake your thing!
