Miele has an exciting calendar of events for amateur cooks over the next couple of months. If you want to learn more about healthy eating and local produce, Chef Andy Campbell is serving up a menu that features homemade saffron tortellini made with locally produced ricotta cheese and organic spinach, and line-caught wild sea bass with asparagus and a basil salsa. Sound good? Make sure to get involved on 16 October.
If your little ones are showing promise in the kitchen bring them down for Galeries Lafayette’s executive chef, Russell Impiazzi’s session. Youngsters can learn how to make a yummy range of goodies including homemade bread, scones and biscuits at the Back to Baking session on 6 October.
Marti Yanci, owner of local catering company, Marta’s Kitchen, also picks up on the health and wellness theme on 11 November, with a session aimed at busy execs looking for quick fix meals with a health-conscious angle. Her menu will feature baked shari fish with fresh herbs and lime and a spiced orange and chicken mini pot pie. Sounds delish!
If you want to be the hostess with the mostest during the festive season there’s tapas, truffles and festive treats on the schedule too. And sweet-toothed cooks are already signing up for the 10-session cake and cupcake course, led by Dima Sharif, which starts in November.
