Its official – The Council of Fashion Designers of America has announced that they’ll be launching its own menswear-dedicated fashion week.
Named New York Fashion Week: Men’s, the CFDA will start with the spring 2016 shows running from July 13 to 16 at Skylight Clarkson Square in Manhattan.
It’s been highly demanded for a men’s dedicated fashion week as menswear designers had no choice but to either show on the women’s calendar or take their collections to London or Pitti Uomo.
"New York Fashion Week: Men's gives the designers a business platform to show during their market dates and is an opportunity to demonstrate the collective talent of an important segment of our industry," CFDA CEO Steven Kolb.
We can’t wait to see what the week brings to the runway!
