Mark Salling Arrested for Possession of Indecent Images
Mark Salling was taken into custody on Tuesday after a warrant was served at his home in Los Angeles.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force unit arrived at the actor's home in Sunland, California on Tuesday 29 December to carry out a search warrant, and he was subsequently arrested, according to CrimeWatchDaily. "He was taken into custody this morning for possession of child pornography," Officer Aaron Jefferson from the LAPD confirmed to People.
The arrest comes less than a year after Mark reached a $2.7 million settlement with Playboy pin-up Roxanne Gorzela, after she sued the star in 2013 amid allegations of sexual battery. In her lawsuit, Gorzela claimed that she had contracted a sexually-transmitted disease from him, and when she confronted him days later and expressed concern, he had allegedly shoved her to the ground causing bruising on her knees.
Mark Salling denied the accusations, insisting he acted in self-defence after being attacked, but the former couple reached an agreement in March, when the actor confessed to negligently causing his ex to fall and injure herself during the dispute.
