Mark Ronson Gets Engaged
DJ and producer Mark Ronson has decided he has finally found ‘The One’ after proposing to girlfriend of nearly two years, Josephine De La Baume.
Mark, who was previously engaged to Quincy Jones’ daughter Rashida and dated British socialite and model Daisy Lowe, is said to be ecstatic that his French model girlfriend said yes.
In fact the star’s so infatuated he’s determined to do all he can to ensure his fiancée gets her dream wedding. A source revealed, “He’s pulling out all the stops to get her the wedding she wants. It’ll be a no-expense-spared affair.”
The Bang Bang hit maker popped the question after recently, admitting, “It’s not the thought of the wedding – though that’s nice. It’s just the idea of marrying someone you really, really love that you just want to share that with.”
Despite being a self-proclaimed romantic, Mark admitted he had to up his game when it came to his French partner. He revealed, “Having a French girlfriend automatically sets the bar to a whole new level. I’m certainly not perfect. Nobody is. In every great relationship you have two people that really care about each other and, inevitably, they can wind each other up in ways that no one is capable of. That’s what love is. I’m not saying it has to be either making love or breaking dishes across the kitchen but, yeah… I think I’m a pretty good boyfriend.”
The couple started dating in 2009, after Josephine starred in his music video The Bike Song, and their relationship is still strong. Josie recently gushed about Mark and her giant sparkler in French magazine Purple.
