Under the meticulous supervision of Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage, Chef Mark Patten, with over 30 years’ experience in the F&B industry – including his former role in the culinary team behind the world-renowned Sandy Lane hotel in Barbados and the InterContinental Hotel in Hong Kong – the multi-award-winner has been instrumental in Atlantis earning its gastronomic reputation and critical acclaim.

Focused on the constant innovation of cuisine available at the resort, a new Chinese concept, YUAN, combining restaurant, bar and lounge, became the latest addition to open its doors to the public last year. This was perhaps the final affirmation for Chef Mark to make Dubai his permanent home. He finally purchased a house in the emirate following 20 years globetrotting with his family for his high-profile career, which means that the food at Atlantis, The Palm will reign supreme for some time to come.
