Mandy Moore teases new album will drop ‘sooner rather than later’
This is not a drill! After taking a decade long break from music, Mandy Moore is gearing up to release a brand new album. The star enjoyed a successful musical career in the late 90s and 2000s and released her last studio album, Amanda Leigh, before she called it quits in 2009.
After her long 10 year break, in which she secured a number of TV and film roles, the star broke the surprising news to Entertainment Tonight, saying that her long-due and highly awaited seventh album is almost ready.
“New music is coming out sooner rather than later,” she shared with the source. “Not this week, but soon” implying that it might come When further probed about a release date, the 35-year-old uber talented celebrity teased: “Like, imminently!”
Working on the tracks with her husband Taylor Goldsmith, a guitarist and singer from the rock band Dawes, the couple shared that the upcoming music is deeply personal and a mix of everything.
Mandy earlier this year posted a series of pictures of her in the recording studio with her fellow singers. She later expanded on the new material describing it as “a lot of self-realisation – coming to terms with where I am in life these days.”
