Help people in need by donating food

During the Holy Month, ‘A Kilo of Kindness’ asks people and organisations to donate non-perishable food such as canned, dry, non-glass packaged and baby food, by simply bring the supplies at the participating hotels’ lobbies. Each hotel supports a charity that will benefit from the donated food.

Andreas Mattmüller, Chief Operating Officer of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Middle East and South Asia, said that “giving back to communities remains an important focus for us”. He added: “It is a genuine feel-good activity that provides so many people – givers and receivers alike – with a smile on the face”.  

‘A Kilo of Kindness’ campaign is a part of Shine - Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts’ global corporate social responsibility programme. Shine focuses mainly on environment, employer, social sustainability and education.
