The foodie and Fishfayce founder tells us why she can't get enough of Gaucho Dubai

Why do you love Gaucho?
Great food and great service, what more can you ask for?

What do you order when you eat there?
Well, for starters, the salmon ceviche. Followed by the Chateaubriand fillet, topped with Béarnaise sauce and accompanied by a side of spinach with garlic and lemon, and potato puree.

What is your desert island dish?
You really can’t go wrong with the chocolate and hazelnut truffles from Gaucho. Delicious. I would take them with me.

What’s your guilty food pleasure?
Honestly, Shake Shack hits the spot every time. Their burgers, special Shake Shack sauce and cheese fries are irresistible.

Do you have any special food memories?
As a child growing up, I remember my mum cooking all sorts of amazing food in the kitchen. We couldn’t wait to sit at the table because the aroma was just as alluring as the taste itself.

Who is your food inspiration?
Definitely, my sister, Zahra. She took her passion and made it into something more. She currently has an online food blog and cooking class. Her food is out of this world.

What is the most unusual thing you have eaten?
Believe it or not, flowers. I was at a friend’s wedding and not only did the bride and groom include flowers in the wedding favours but the flowers were edible. They were quite tasty but not my favourite choice of snack.

In your opinion, what makes a perfect dining out experience?
Company. It’s all about good company, every time.

What do you like to cook at home?
When I have the time, everything. I like to experiment. How else do you master the art of cooking?

Who taught you how to cook?
Needless to say, my mom and sisters.

What are your kitchen cupboard must-haves?
You name it, I have it.

What is your foodie dream?
One word: Nutella.
