Lucy boynton: 'There shouldn't be a Bohemian rhapsody sequel'

Lucy Boynton has dashed the dreams of Bohemian Rhaspsody fans by insisting there will never be a follow-up.

The actress, who played Freddie Mercury's girlfriend and confidante Mary Austin in the hit 2018 movie, doesn’t think there should be another film, even though there's a bigger story still to tell.

Bohemian Rhapsody covered Queen's early career, the band's split and reunion for their landmark Live Aid concert in 1985, but Mercury was only just beginning his battle with AIDS that eventually cost him his life in 1991 and fans have been crying out for a sequel. But Lucy, who is dating the film's Freddie - Rami Malek - in real life, tells there shouldn't be a sequel.

"I think it’s one of those things, that is better left," she says. "I feel like that it feels good. It feels good how it was packaged in that film, I think. I don’t know, I think it was kind of done, like it was wrapped up."
