What’s it all about? Dig out that royal blue eyeshadow or brave a chemical orange lip, because hot pops of colour are back! Think hues that are buzzy, energetic and fun, counter-balanced with low-key skin and a mascara-less lash. Models faces were seeing a bright future at the shows of Kenzo, Marni and Sonia Rykiel. This is clearly not a time to be shy.

Who it suits? Lively, confident and brave types who are bored of classic red.

How to do it: Stick to just one colour and make a statement of one facial feature, so go for loud lips or bright eyes. “Single block colour is the focus,” explains Rex. “Use a bold eye pencil and draw a thick line along the base of your lashes to really make your eyes pop.” Joshi adds, “Make sure your skin is flawless, then just add a strong magenta lip colour”.
