Love fashion? Then you should start preparing yourselves for one of the most expensive shopping fests in recent history. After New York’s stunning new season collections were revealed last week, London Fashion Week cemented the fact that our spring shopping budgets need to be severely increased. By like, twenty times - and then some. What is widely being banded as the city’s  most successful Fashion Week ever amongst industry insiders, there were few shows that didn’t leave us -or the celebs up and down the front rows - frothing over in a fabulous frock induced frenzy. We were given goosebumps by Julien Macdonald’s delicately embroidered silk chiffon gowns. Thrown into jet-setter  lifestyle envy by Jaeger London’s ‘summer in Mustique’ stripes and pastel scallop edged separates.  Nostalgic and whimsical about Mulberry’s British seaside themed collection, all blousy florals and sugar sweet ice-cream at the beach shades. Finally, the darling of British fashion, Jonathan Saunders gave the show of the week, with his divine collection of circle-skirted dresses, beautiful prints and waffle knits in all the colours of the rainbow. Do yourself a favour ladies, and make an appointment with your bank manager now. You’ll thanks us, come February...
