Lindsay Lohan Named Suspect in Jewellery Heist
Has Lindsay Lohan been taking what's not hers?
LiLo, who's on probation for an earlier theft case
involving a necklace at a California jewellery store, has now been named
a suspect in a party theft. In a bizarre twist to the case, the host now
insists that the burglary never happened.
Sam Magid reported the theft of $100,000 (Dhs367,000)
worth of watches and sunglasses to the LAPD on 24 August, claiming the items
went missing following a party at his home.
Lindsay and her assistant Gavin Doyle were guests at the
bash and now police insiders tell TMZ.com that the pair is on their list of
suspects, even though Sam now insists that nothing was stolen.
Apparently, LiLo is a frequent visitor to Sam's house, often popping over for
bashes, including all-night parties.
Meanwhile, LiLo's lawyer has reportedly refused a police
request to interview the actress. The Liz & Dick star's publicist Steve
Honig said, "We are not commenting on this right now."
If she's involved in stealing more jewllery, it would mean jail time for
Lindsay. But did she really do it? Watch this space for updates.
