Kim Kardashian’s Paris driver has reportedly been arrested in connection with her armed robbery ordeal in the French city last October.
According to French paper Le Monde, the family's long-time city chauffeur was arrested on Monday 9 January, amid ongoing reports suggesting that the raid on Kim's Paris apartment in the early hours of 5 October was an inside job. The 27-year-old limousine driver is one of 16 suspects who have been arrested in connection with the heist, where the 36-year-old reality star was robbed of millions of dollars’ worth of jewellery, including her engagement ring.
Kim, her husband Kanye West, and other members of her famous family regularly used the limo company that the driver works for while visiting the French capital. Police are said to be keen to determine if the driver passed information on to the thieves, who invaded Kim’s rented apartment in the early hours of the morning.
UPDATE: According to bosses at UNIC Worldpass, the limousine company which employs the driver, he has been released early with no criminal charges.
