Leona Lewis lays down the law

Who says pop stars can’t rule the land? Vegetarian, Leona Lewis, sure has. The Bleeding Love singer was so successful on making her mark she convinced BRIT Award organizers to ditch the foie gras from the menu this year. If you’re wondering why she is going to such extremes, the performer says that “the meat industry is polluting the environment.”

Now Leona has her heart set on removing meat from her sight altogether. Her upcoming U.K. tour will be completely meat free. So does that mean meat-eaters can’t attend? We hope she doesn’t lose any fans over this.

But in her defense, Leona made this statement: "I’ve banned all meat from photoshoots to the tour itself simply because I don't support the meat industry."

She now has other supports set to come on board. "Anything I ask Simon [Cowell] to get involved in regarding my charity and environmental concerns he always does. He's cool like that."

Leona Lewi's U.K tour kicks off in May.
