The second annual Laureus Awards kicked off in Abu Dhabi on Monday (Feb 7) to celebrate sporting greatness. The event which was hosted by Kevin Spacey attracted some of the biggest names from the sports and entertainment fields.

A-lister’s in the audience included actor Morgan Freeman who put on quite a show on stage as well with Kevin, Ronan Keating who performed live on the night, surfing legend Kelly Slater, racing star Frankie Dettori, skateboarding hero Tony Hawk as well as sporting heros from the winter and summer Olympics.

The night ended with Kevin playing a game of ping-pong on stage after impersonating Morgan Freeman and making fun of Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes. Eek. Winners on the night were:
