Laptop ban lifted from Emirates flights to the US

Travellers rejoice!

Following Etihad Airways, Emirates is now the second airline to be able to lift the US's laptop ban from its flights. The move comes after the airline implemented new security measures to meet the requirements of the US Department of Homeland Security.

“Emirates has been working hard in coordination with various aviation stakeholders and local authorities to implement heightened security measures and protocols that meet the requirements of the US Department of Homeland Security’s new security guidelines for all US bound flights,” an Emirates spokesperson said, reports Gulf News.
The move is effective immediately, so make sure you've got all your devices charged before flying out!
