The Material Girl and the Mother Monster make it on Time's list of style stars

Looks like wearing a meat dress, one gold glove and Roman warrior garb is a good thing! Madonna, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson and The Beatles have been named among the All-Time 100 Fashion Icons by Time magazine editors.

The extensive list features the "most influential fashion icons since 1923", the year the publication was launched, and is split into six categories - Designers & Brands, Models, Muses, Photographers, Editors & Stylists and Style & Design.

The musicians have all made the list as Muses, alongside legendary rocker David Bowie and iconic actors James Dean, Brigitte Bardot, Farrah Fawcett, Audrey Hepburn.

But there were also people from the actual fashion industry too! Models Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss and Iman were also declared style icons. As were designers Giorgio Armani, Marc Jacobs, Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier. Oh, and of course, US Vogue editor Anna Wintour!

What do you think of the list?
