Get caught up in the European, minimalist vibe. An all-white and pine décor encased in glass is perfectly complimented by a smattering of chandeliers throughout; a glamorous touch to the open kitchen at the entrance displaying fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Waiting staff are well-versed and appear to know every ingredient in every dish. Which is just as well, because the entire menu is in French. Their recommendations are spot on, so voice your preferences early on for a pleasurable meal.

It might be posh, but eating with your hands is perfectly acceptable. Don’t be afraid to pick up the slices of the popular sweet caramelised onion tart starter, topped with cherry tomatoes and peppered with crème fraiche to enjoy it in all its glory.

Slow and steady wins the race. If you love your meat, there is no bigger a carnivorous adventure than the 50-hour cooked beef short ribs, which are both juicy and tender and fall apart at the merest touch.

‘Brinner’ has never been so in vogue. Following your grown-up dinner, embrace the trend for breakfast at dinner with a dessert of French toast served with maple syrup and ice cream.
