Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that her family are still shaken up about Kim’s Paris ordeal earlier this month, where she was tied up and robbed at gunpoint.
The mother-of-two was left unharmed, but the robbers made off with valuable items including her jewellery, which is reported to be worth roughly $10 million.
Her older sister, Kourtney, said in a recent interview with Australian TV show Today Extra that Kim and her whole family are still shaken up by the incident.
“You know, she’s not doing great. I think we’re all really still shaken up. I think she has a big supportive family and I know that, like, all of the traumatic things that we’ve been through, , we get through them together as a family and that’s what family is about.”
She spoke about how the incident is wake-up call for her family as most of their life is shared on social media and on their reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
It was previously speculated that Kim blamed herself for the robbery because she showed of her diamond ring on her Snapchat the night before the attack.
The reality star has taken precautionary measures by avoiding social media and has also cancelled several appearances and commitments, including an appearance in Dubai. Kanye West also cancelled her 36th birthday bash.
Filming for the reality TV show has been put on hold while she recovers.
Kourtney also said, “I feel like in our family especially, when we go through traumatic things, our lives move so quickly at times we don’t have a chance to digest them. But I felt I have personally been taking time to just digest everything and I’m still shaken up.”
We’re glad Kim has such a supportive family around her!
