Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West are set to become parents for a second time and the internet nearly crashed when the news broke. Kardashian West revealed the news during a preview for upcoming episodes of her reality TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians, which aired in America last week.
The Results Are In!
Ahead of her show being broadcast in the US, Kim, 34, tweeted: “Who is excited for tonight’s KUWTK finale?! There’s some exciting news to share so make sure you tune in!” Then later in the show during a teaser clip, a doctor confirmed her pregnancy, and she confided the news to her sister Khloe, saying: “I just got the blood test back, and I’m pregnant!” Kim’s made no secret of her and her rapper husband’s desire to add another little one to their family, and she’s documented her difficulties trying to conceive again on the current season of her reality show.
Kim’s Simply Exhausted!
She previously opened up about their efforts to E! News, saying: “We’re trying. We try every single day. You can’t try harder than we try. It’s getting exhausting. He [Kanye] always says, ‘Trying for baby number two isn’t as fun as trying (for) baby number one.’ But we’re literally trying everything that we can to make it happen, so I’m to the point now where it’s not as stressful to me. And maybe that’s when they say it happens.”
Kris Confirms the News
After the good news was announced Kim’s momager Kris Jenner celebrated on Instagram writing: “Congratulations! Can’t wait to meet your new little love bug! So happy for you guys! #Blessed #Love #Family #YouAreSoBeautifulPregnant.” E! also took to their Twitter account to congratulate the star, posting: “Congrats! @KimKardashian reveals she’s pregnant with baby number two.” Kim’s bff Jonathan Cheban also chimed with: “Congrats Kim! Baby #2!”
The couple, which celebrated its first wedding anniversary last month, welcomed its first child together, daughter North West, in 2013, and we can’t help but wonder if they’ll keep the directional theme when naming their next kid. East, South and West are still available, but we’re not sure how good West West will sound.
