Girls Aloud band member Kimberley Walsh is the face of New Look’s Autumn-Winter 2009 campaign. Kimberley follows in the footsteps of other celebs from the world of fashion, film, TV and music including Drew Barrymore, Agyness Deyn, Lily Allen and Alexa Chung.
Key pieces for this Autumn/Winter include “the coatigan” a mix of cardigan and coat, the western shirt and of course the essential mac, whether in black and red oversize dogtooth, electric blue splash print or a classic beige given a twist with rounded collar.
The dress is still the style staple and New Look offers glamorous gold sequins shifts, a beautiful blue studded number, and the striking “Gladiator” dress covered in silver and black stud and bead work.
In September 2006, New Look store at Deira City Centre was the company’s first foray into the Middle East, followed by stores in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, taking the total number of stores to 26.
