Kim Kardashian launches into an explosive tirade at sister Kourtney over their annual festive photoshoot in an upcoming episode of their TV show.

Kim was put in charge of organising the family's annual Christmas card photoshoot, which was released throughout December, and in a preview from the series premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it is revealed that Kim and Kourtney came to blows trying to coordinate their schedules.

The clip shows Kourtney informing Kim and their mum Kris that she needs to leave the shoot at 4pm to make it in time for another commitment, but Kim complains that she has a meeting during that time, so Kourtney suggests her sister changes her appointment.

Kim then loses her temper and explodes at her older sibling, saying, "No one wants you in the shoot, so get the **** out of here! I'm planning it. I'm planning the shoot, so we don't want you in the shoot."

Kourtney replies that she had already told her she didn't care about doing it, and Kim yells, "Good, then don't be in it! 'Cause you're so ******* annoying. Perfect, then shut the **** up!"

Kris then tells Kourtney that she is being annoying, and the 39-year-old says, "Why, because Kim wants it around her schedule?"

The KKW Beauty boss becomes even angrier, pointing out that she is busier than Kourtney because she has her own business.

"Maybe if you had a ******* business that you were passionate about then you would know what it takes to run a ******* business but you don't, so don't even act like you know what I'm talking about," she says.

Kourtney storms off and Kim then tells Kris and sister Khloe that it doesn't really matter if Kourtney isn't there.

"I need Kourtney to not be so annoying with this stick up her *** like she ******* runs the show because she doesn't," she sighs. "She's the least exciting to look at, so she can be out. She doesn't do ****. She doesn't know what it's like to actually have ******* work to do!"

As we all know, Kourtney and her three children did end up being part of the shoot when the pictures were eventually released, but we had no idea about all the drama behind the scenes.

Since then, Kourt was forced to confront Kim after growing tired of her criticism.

Kourtney admits it was one of the most difficult moments she's ever had. “I think this was probably our craziest fight,” she tells People magazine. "I think I’ve always been the sister who, like, I would just tell them like it is or if they said something to me, I’d just break them right down the fastest and make them upset, and now I’ve been working on being more in touch with my feelings.

"I think I just couldn’t take it anymore. I just felt like we needed to make a change and not be so critical (of each other).”

Despite the rift, the TV personality insists she and Kim are past the rough patch. “We’ve always been a family who will do anything for each other and we know that at the end of the day, but sometimes there’s criticism and I felt not good hanging out with them everyday and I couldn’t take it anymore,” Kardashian shares. “So you’ll see in the season how it plays out."

However, it appears Kim may still have raw emotions about the fallout. She took to her Twitter account last Thursday to defend herself against a fan who noted Kourtney was "done living this Kardashian life" and "grew sick and tired of being forced to stay relevant" by being a part of the reality show.

“Oh word, did Kourt tell you this?" Kim fumed in response to the critic's tweet. "She sure wanna live that Kardashian life though, and BTW (by the way) this photo shoot was our Christmas card. Family memories we were creating. Just tune in before you start acting like you know things.”

The new episodes will also shed light on Kourtney's relationship with ex Scott Disick, who she still considers family even though the pair split in 2015. Kourt and Scott remain on good terms and she insists they will always be "family", adding, "We really try to have a good relationship for the kids."

Sadly the same can’t be said for her relationship with her sister though. Ouch.
