Kelly Osbourne Set to Guest Star on Australia’s Next Top Model
Just days after Victoria’s Secret’s angel, Alessandra Ambrosio graced the stage of Australia’s Next Top Model, resident Fashion Police Kelly Osbourne was flown down to Sydney to share her fashion expertise on the reality platform.
The 26-year-old daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne confirmed to appear on the xxxx season of the competitive modeling show currently being filmed.
This won’t be the first time for Ms Osbourne to make an appearance as guest judge, as previously the purple haired beauty has been a member of the judging panel on the American version of the competition, America’s Next Top Model, back in 2011.
The Brazilian model and Kelly are just two of the A-list personalities sought by the Australian show in an attempt to fill the void left by former judge Charlotte Dawson, who took her own life in February following a prolonged battle with depression.
Out of respect to the late star, it was decided that her position on the show would not be filled, and instead guest judges would feature alongside permanent faces Alex Perry, Jennifer Hawkins and Didier Cohen. The show’s producers also revealed that a series of guest judges would be welcomes each week, stating that Charlotte is “absolutely irreplaceable”.
Although we have no doubts in Kelly’s abilities to judge a fashion show, we certainly hope her assessment of the aspiring supermodels will be a little gentler than some of the criticism she lashes out as an E! Fashion Police judge.
