Kelly Osbourne quits Fashion Police!
Kelly Osbourne has quit E!'s Fashion Police just days after threatening to leave over her fall-out with co-host Giuliana Rancic.
So what's the big fuss about? Giuliana caused an uproar when she made inappropriate comments about actress Zendaya Coleman's red carpet look at the Oscars. More specifically, she suggested Zendaya's dreadlocks smelled like marijuana. Zendaya also happens to be besties with Kelly. Uh oh!
Zendaya understandably took offence to Giuliana's comments about her dreadlocked look, which led to Giulana making a heartfelt public apology. Kelly, who was seated next to Giuliana at the time the comments were made, wasn't happy when fans of the show took to social media to criticise her for not objecting at the time. Kel hit back on Twitter, stating: "I will not be dragged into this! The situation is being rectified like adults by both parties. I hope you can leave it to them and do the same!" She added: "I'm giving everyone involved 24 hours to make it right or the world will hear how I really feel. Contractually I'm not allowed to speak."
And just like that it was all over. E! confirmed on Friday: "Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities. We would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Osbourne will not feature on the show when it returns to TV at the end of March. It is not known who will replace her."
So there you have it! Don't mess with Kelly. Or her friends!
