After having dropped a few dress sizes to show off her incredible body transformation, Kelly Osbournelast week revealed she’s also planning on dropping some more emotional baggage – this time her tattoos.
When work on her new movie Should’ve Been Romeo saw her 15 tattoos covered with make-up, 25-year-old Kels realised she didn’t miss them and made plans to start lasering off her body art.
“I can’t say I missed them. I met with my dermatologist and I’ll start the laser treatment as soon as I have time,” she wrote in her UK magazine column. “It will take several months to do, and while I’m not looking forward to the pain, I’ve heard it hurts less than getting the tattoo. I hope so!”
And first in the laser firing line is the keyboard on her inner arm, which Kelly has branded “a mistake.”
“One of them is a keyboard and I don’t even know how to play a piano!” she lamented. Adding, “I was miserable and I just went and got all these tattoos and I don’t know why.”
And the candid reality TV star has revealed she started getting tattoos to rebel against her parents and also to channel her teenage frustrations – “[It was] my way of self-harming, because I really knew it would upset my mum and dad.” Adding of her decision to have them removed, “As you get older, you realise that you don’t want to be defined by your tattoos, because that’s not the type of person that I am.”
