Kate Middleton's Pregnant!
Kate Middleton's officially pregnant and has pulled out of a number of upcoming engagements due to morning sickness.
The royal - who is expecting her first child with husband Prince William - was admitted to hospital as she is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum [severe morning sickness] and has decided to cancel events on 5,8, and 9 December in order to rest.
A representative for Buckingham Palace said: "The Duchess will not be attending the public engagements this week, as she will be in hospital for a few days and will then need to rest."
Meanwhile, William's uncle Earl Spencer - the brother of his late mother Princess Diana - has congratulated the couple on their impending arrival.
He said: "It is wonderful news and I am thrilled for them both."
William and Catherine were forced to announce the pregnancy before Catherine reached 12 weeks after she was admitted to hospital.
A statement from Buckingham Palace said: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby.
"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.
"The Duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with Hyperemesis Gravidarum [morning sickness]. As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter."
