Kate Middleton Keeps it Elegant in Florals
Britain's Duchess of Cambridge looked elegant in a silk floral Project D dress for the final day of her Diamond Jubilee tour. The style icon chose a fitting dress for the final leg of her visit to Asia and the South Pacific with husband Prince William.
The climax of their nine day tour yesterday saw the royal couple journey by plane from Tuvalu to Brisbane before heading back home to Britain.
It is fitting that the duchess chose a Project D London designed dress for her crossing, as the brand is owned by a Brit and an Australian, friends Tabitha Somerset Webb and singer Dannii Minogue.
Catherine's choice of the brand's flower-print Penelope dress comes after her sister Pippa Middleton was spotted wearing Project D London's Phoebe Bluebird frock to watch tennis star Andy Murray play at Wimbledon earlier this summer.
The grand finale comes after a remarkable display of fitting fashion choices from Catherine throughout her visit overseas.
The 30-year-old duchess wore predominantly British designs, with Jaeger, Alexander McQueen, Jonathan Saunders and Zara featuring in her tour wardrobe, as well as one piece by Nepalese designer Prabal Gurung.
