Considering that Kanye West actually loves Paris and refers to the French capital as his second home, last week proved to be an extremely challenging time for the rapper and his wife in the City of Light. First Kim Kardashian was savagely attacked and then the power couple were booed and heckled when they attended a catwalk show during Paris Fashion Week.
Vitalli attacked Kim
Kim Gets Struck Down
Notorious red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk has clearly learned nothing since being arrested and charged for attacking celebs earlier this year, and the Ukrainian reporter struck again, this time leaving Kim, 33, deeply shaken and scared. Sediuk was seen throwing himself at the feet of Kanye’s wife as she arrived at the Balmain show at PFW and tried to pull the curvy brunette to the floor. Security guards rushed the idiot and yanked him off the TV beauty, allowing her to make her way inside with West and her mother Kris Jenner. Sediuk – who is now trying to start a career as a Paris-based model – recently discovered his name is on a US Customs and Border Protection no-fly list after attempting to board a flight from Istanbul, Turkey to Los Angeles, and he decided to retaliate by ambushing Kardashian. The 25-year-old told the DailyMail.co.uk: “The prank with Kim was my protest that the US banned me from entering the country. I hope Kim is OK and won’t be mad at me as I didn’t mean any harm.
As a result of the attack, Kimye now plan to heighten their security detail and are said to be so shaken by the incident that they’ll start using armoured vehicles to travel around, just like the British Royal family and the US President do. The superstars have already ordered in two additional teams of bodyguards to surround them during their stay in France, but that couldn’t protect them from the wrath of the Parisian paparazzi.
Kanye defends his tardiness
Kimye’s Lanvin Lateness
Yeezy, 37, and Kim fell foul of the fashion elite in Paris last week when they were booed for showing up late for a Lanvin presentation. The celebrity couple reportedly rocked up around 40 minutes behind schedule, forcing event producers to hold up the highly anticipated fashion week runway show until their arrival. Their extremely tardy entrance prompted a pool of photographers to heckle West and Kardashian as they made their way to their specially reserved front row seats, but in true Kanye style, the outspoken hip-hop star refused to let the jeers slide and instead confronted the snappers to defend himself. Rather than take the abuse on the chin he strutted down the runway up to the group and said: “Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz asked to see us. Don’t boo us. We’re not late, we’re not late!”
