Celebrities and fans were shocked when Kanye revealed his controversial Famous music video, revealing lookalike wax statues of famous celebrities with their modesty on show.
The wax statues were incredibly realistic and resembled stars like Taylor Swift, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Bill Cosby, Kim Kardashian and Anna Wintour. Kanye seemed to have braced himself for legal issues, or at least personal comments from the celebrities featured in the video. Kanye received neither, except for a tweet from Chris Brown who made light of the situation. West must have been desperate for some attention as he tweeted out: “Can somebody sue me already #I’llwait”.
The famous is rapper is really asking for trouble on social media. The tweet has been deleted. Kanye said, “It’s not in support or anti any of (any of them). It’s a comment on fame”. While Kanye says this is art, we can only imagine none of the stars are happy about this, especially Taylor Swift. The pop icon was mentioned in the Famous track, and the lyric stated that Kanye made Swift famous. Taylor shut down Kanye in her Grammy acceptance speech, but Kanye and his wife, Kim Kardashian still insist that Taylor knew and approved the song.
We can only imagine what the celebrities featured are going to do. Will they take legal action? Or ignore Kanye’s attempts at demanding attention?
