Whether he’s getting into fistfights in Cleveland or being blasted for his “creepy” flirty behaviour, it seems like this Canadian heartthrob is always in the news.
Justin Bieber was giving an impassioned speech about the idea behind Purpose (the name of his album and tour) during his July 15 concert in New Jersey when a fan threw a hat onto the stage. The singer did not take this well.
“I probably don’t want that s***,” Bieber said mid-spiel, presumably in reference to the hat.
“Sorry, that was mean,” he immediately added, before continuing with his discourse.
“But yeah, now I lost what I was going to say. I was deep into, like, a mode and a zone. I was in it. Now I’m out of it. I’ll get it back. Just give me a second. I got it: I just wanted to take this moment to acknowledge the fact that we all have a purpose, that we all have a meaning to life and it’s not, like … we just don’t live to die. And this life is not all struggles,” the singer said passionately.
He briefly apologized to the fan before moving on with the next song on his set list, Purpose, with an off the cuff: “whatever, let’s do it.”
