Justin Bieber took to Instagram on Sunday (30 July) to defend his manager and long time friend Scooter Braun after a back on fourth drama with Taylor Swift over Scooter's new record label purchase, and apologising for previous actions that might have upset TayTay.
After Scooter agreed to purchase Big Machine Records (T Swift's back catalogue record label) the pop star shared a long message on her Tumblr describing that she felt "manipulated", "betrayed" and "grossed" out by the sale.
What this means is that Scooter now has ownership of her master recordings — including all six of her multiplatinum albums — which are controlled by the Nashville-based record company, The Big Machine Label Group. Yikes.
She also said in her Tumblr post that Scooter Braun joined his two clients, Justin Bieber and Kanye West on a Facetime call to publically bully her in 2016.
Justin Bieber apologised for his post saying he "thought it was funny but looking back it was distasteful and insensitive". Bieber defended his manager saying that he had nothing to do with the post, hoping that they could both make amends and communicate to solve their issues.
