Julianne Moore Excited for Dior Show at Paris Fashion Week
Julianne Moore is excited to see the "amazing collections" by Raf Simons during Fashion Week.
The actress revealed her passion for fashion at the Swarovski boutique in New York’s SoHo on Wednesday night. Julianne expressed her delight at seeing the upcoming presentation by new Dior creative director Simons at Paris Fashion Week later this month.
“I’m excited about Raf Simons at Dior,” Julianne gushed to WWD.com. “I think that’s really exciting. His collections are amazing.”
Julianne was one of a select few invited to celebrate the launch of Yoko Ono's collaboration with the crystal manufacturers at an exclusive party in their city store.
Dressed in a black Tom Ford suit, Julianne sang the praises of late Beatles star John Lennon's wife Yoko, who has become such an important iconic figure herself since her husband's death.
“Isn’t she the coolest?” Julianne continued. “She’s just a lovely, lovely person.”
Yoko explained how the collaboration with Swarovski came about. She revealed that she was impressed by the crystal company's ability to create the exact vision she had for her special key jewellery pieces.
“I was just so amazed that they understood my creativity,” Ono explained. “My keys, the original keys I made in the Sixties, were glass keys. Glass keys are very frail, making them in crystal is stronger and very powerful spiritually.”
