Jessica Alba Makes Big Bucks with Non-Toxic Household Products
Jessica Alba's lifestyle endeavour The Honest Company has grossed almost $1 billion in just two years. The company, launched by the Honer star in 2012 sells organic, non-toxic everyday items, such as diapers, cleaners and vitamins and offers a monthly subscription plan for eco-lovers.
The managers of the organisation are now planning to expand the company's markets to include China, England and Australia and possibly even a next step in terms of taking the company public at the stock market.
CEO and co-founder Brian Lee, says, "We believe being a public company is the best path for us going forward and it's good to get that validation early on. I can't say when that will be, but we are definitely starting to think and act like a public company."
Alba adds, "We value the support of our partners and customers in helping us make a meaningful impact in the marketplace. We dream big at The Honest Company and continuously strive to make the world healthier and more sustainable today and in the future."
What a great way to use your celebrity status, rather than putting your face up for any kind of product, these seem like they are actually good for us and the environment.
