Jenna Dewan has reassured fans that she's doing "really good" following her split from husband Channing Tatum.
The 37-year-old actress and her Magic Mike star spouse stunned the world when they announced the end of their marriage on 2 April. Jenna has since dropped the Tatum from her double-barrelled surname on social media, and thrown herself into work, and as she attended an event for hit U.S. TV show World of Dance in Hollywood on Tuesday, told Entertainment Tonight that she's coping well in the wake of the break-up.
"I'm good, I'm really good," she smiled. "I so appreciate all the love and everything."
Jenna also opened up about how she's going to be spending the Mother's Day holiday with the former couple's four-year-old daughter Everly later this month.
"I always want Mother's Day to be like family. I want to do something together, I want to be with Evie," the former Step Up star said. "Just have a really nice day and then the next day I want to go to the spa. That's what I want. I want the balance. I want the mommy time and then I want the me time. So that's my plan."
Jenna's appearance at the event came as a source told People that she and Channing are on good terms and still spending time together along with their little girl following their split.
"Jenna is still on good terms with Channing," an insider told the website. "They get along. They spend some time together as a family, but mostly separately with Everly."
Announcing the end of their marriage in April, the pair said in a joint statement: "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision - just two best friends realising it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible."
