Jen’s Road to True Happiness
Jen knows how to work a white dress. When she married Brad she wore a full-length, white silk tulle halter dress studded with pearls, designed by Lawrence Steele. In June, she wore a va-va-voom, low-cut white Burberry gown with a thigh-high slit to the AFI Life Achievement Awards in LA. And last year she wore a white Valentino number to the London premiere of Horrible Bosses.
She’s admitted that she likes “classic, elegant designers such as Lanvin”, so she’s not likely to wear a traditional meringue. But sources say she’s considering a shorter, off-white design! And if the pair opt for a beach wedding, she could even wear her beloved flip-flops.
When Jen married Brad, her bridesmaids were actress Andrea Bendewald and filmmaker Kristin Hahn-Stringer. No, us neither. But this time we reckon that Courteney Cox is a dead cert for maid of honour and her daughter Coco, who is Jen’s goddaughter, would make a cute flower girl.
Other contenders include Jen’s new BFF, chat show host Chelsea Handler, and gal pal Sheryl Crow. Last time her bridesmaids wore pale green slip dresses by Lawrence Steele, so it’s a safe bet that Jen will choose dresses that are simple and chic. Lucky for them!
The Guest List
The big news is that Justin has already achieved the impossible, and convinced Jen that she should invite her estranged mother, Nancy Dow, to their wedding. Nancy didn’t attend Brad and Jen’s wedding as the mother and daughter fell out back in 1999, but Justin has convinced her to let bygones be bygones.
A source told Perez Hilton, “With the help of Justin, Nancy will get an invite this time round. Justin comes from a very tight-knit family, who he is very close to. He preaches family values to Jennifer and he said to her he’d love a private, low-key ceremony with all their families present. She agreed.”
