News reaches AhlanLive.com towers that rap mogul SHAWN 'JAY-Z' CARTER has plans to record a tune with OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER following their very public Glastonbury row.

Now we're not cynical enough to suggest that multi-millionaire Jay Z is cashing in on his verbal smackdown with the Oasis guitarist or anything, but we'd love to hear what hard-faced Manc Noel would think of the unlikely duet.

After Mr Beyonce was named as the first rapper to headline at the festival, Noel publicly pummeled him saying: "It's wrong. I'm not having it. Jay-Z's got no chance."

But after the rapper was given a surprisingly warm welcome (well, aside from the bottles of urine that were allegedly thrown his way), he's now set his sights on mixing it up with the Gallaghers.

He says: "Glastonbury was a historic event for me... I'm feeling the love.

"Any time you can come from where I come from... (and) come so far... to come overseas and have people embrace you the way I've been embraced thus far, it's just an amazing feeling."

"I haven't spoken to Noel, but I heard he was reaching out... I don't bear any grudge, it's all good."
