JANET JACKSON kept to her promise and returned to the stage on her Rock Witchu tour on Wednesday night - after a bout of vertigo previously forced her to cancel a string of shows.
The Nasty singer returned to her planned concert date at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. - her first performance since 29 September when she was hospitalised just minutes before performing a gig in Montreal, Canada.
The star then cancelled a further eight shows on her first tour in seven years after doctors ordered her to rest until they diagnosed her "mystery illness".
Janet's representatives later disclosed she was suffering from migraine-related vertigo - dizziness brought on by severe headaches.
The superstar thrilled fans as she appeared on-stage in a flash of fireworks and smoke, wearing a huge mohawk and yellow body-suit.
Jackson told the crowd: "It feels so good to be back after being down just a little bit."
