Find out who Lindsay's blaming for her life turning into a nightmare

Lindsay Lohan has blamed the constant presence of paparazzi for making her life difficult, insisting that she feels like a "prisoner" in her own home.

The Mean Girls star is followed by photographers wherever she goes after hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons during her days as a Hollywood 'It girl', but the reformed wild child insists her level of fame is now more of a curse than a blessing.

LiLo, who is currently attempting to rebuild her career after completing a court-ordered stint in rehab last summer, opened up about her media struggles in her new docu-series, Lindsay, which will debut on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network in America on 9 March.

In a trailer for the show, Lohan says, "I don't want them (paparazzi) following me to an AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) meeting. Do you ever feel like a prisoner? Yes, all the time."

But the actress, 27, insists she is serious about sobriety after battling substance abuse during her youth.

She explains, "There's nothing left in having a drink for me. What's left in that feeling? Nothing. There's no party that I haven't gone to, there's no person I haven't hung out with. There's no situation I haven't been exposed to."

The preview clip also features an awkward moment as Winfrey scolds the actress after discovering the tardy star has been delaying production.
