How easy is it to drive? The low centre of gravity makes this motor a pleasure to drive, but the rapid acceleration also means you have to pay close attention to the speedometer.

Who is this car best suited for? Affluent Ahlan! readers who need to get from A to B in style. The small boot cannot fit a suitcase so take the Jag away for long weekends where you only need a small holdall. We also wouldn’t advise using this car for the monthly shopping trip as you’ll struggle to get all your groceries in.

Favourite thing about the car: The body is as a sexy and cool as cars can get. Heads will turn as you zoom past stagnant traffic and expect to receive plenty of compliments when you stop at a red light. WARNING: The Jaguar F-Type induces massive doses of car envy on anyone who doesn’t have the same vehicle.

Overall rating: 9/10.

Performance: The Jaguar F-Type really does live up to the current Jag slogan #GoodToBeBad. This pristine feat of British engineering has added some much needed youth to the Jaguar range and the UAE is the perfect location to cruise around with the top down. Whether you’re using the car to get to your personal training session on JBR, or pulling up at the Mall of the Emirates to meet the girls for a coffee, this is the only way to make an entrance. The switchable Active Sports Exhaust makes quite a noise, but the purr of the Jaguar isnt so harsh that you want to turn it off. In fact the sound of the 3.0 V6 Supercharge engine is a great calling card that adds the theatrics conducted by the motor.
