Jessica Simpson is a new mum after giving birth to a baby boy and she's given him a moniker to remember! Jess and her fiance Eric Johnson welcomed Ace Knute, a little brother for
their daughter Maxwell Drew, in Los Angeles on Sunday (30 June).
Jessica's rep told UsMagazine.com, "Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mum
and baby are doing great. Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the
new addition to their family."
The boy's middle
name is a nod to his paternal grandfather, Knute Johnson.
Jessica confirmed her second pregnancy in November last year, just seven months after
becoming a first-time mother.
A source close to the couple, who got engaged in 2010, previously revealed that they were keen to tie the knot shortly after the birth of their son as the blonde beauty fears she may fall pregnant again and be forced to cancel her wedding plans a third time, having previously nixed their nuptials because of the unexpected baby news.
A source said: [Jessica] was telling friends she wanted to get married a few months after the baby is born."
